The BMW F32 435i is hands down one of the most fun cars I’ve owned. It pulls hard, sounds amazing, and always puts a smile on my face. Whether I’m flooring it on the freeway or just cruising around town, the combo of turbo whooshes and that signature inline-six growl is addictive. A lot of BMW fans will agree—this is probably one of the best-sounding six-cylinders they’ve ever made.
I’ve made a few key mods to take it up a notch:
- CTS Turbo Intake – brings out all the whooshy turbo sounds
- CTS Turbo Charge Pipe – stronger, more reliable under boost, which was around 18 psi, stock charge pipe is known to rupture at stock boost levels
- VRSF Catless Downpipe – increases airflow and enhances the exhaust note. not so much the environment, but it sounds better :P
- Custom Stage 2+ Tune – bumps the power up to 425 bhp and sharpens throttle response
Together, these upgrades turn the 435i into a seriously quick and exciting car to drive. I miss it dearly.
