Worked as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Datawagon from March 2022 to August 2024, primarily focused on backend systems, infrastructure tooling, and full-cycle VM provisioning.
Highlights
- Built and maintained custom WHMCS modules, provisioning add-ons, and automation tools used by resellers
- Developed a custom in-house VM provisioning system, migrating away from Virtualizor, using:
- Fastify (TypeScript) API
- Prisma ORM
- MySQL backend
- Integrated block storage support using LINBIT, including writing custom Perl modules
- Automated abuse tracking with Python scripts:
- Monitored bandwidth and resource abuse across all nodes
- Automatically throttled abusers based on fair share policies
- Mapped IPs to services dynamically and opened abuse tickets automatically
- Enhanced system monitoring, support tooling, and handled occasional sysadmin/debugging tasks across Linux nodes
- Contributed to the frontend dashboard UI and recently handled a full redesign of the landing pages
- Managed and extended a large-scale Laravel PHP API used by the internal control panel
